On Figure by the Road:
- That’s an interesting little number you have yourselves there. What a great little story. With a cool twist at the end also! If it was down to me, I’d like to have heard some more clarinet at the end. Perhaps the guitar is the guy driving and the clarinet is the figure by the road? I’m thinking the song should end on the clarinet getting the upper hand? Don’t let me influence you though. It sounds great and I hope you keep this sort of thing up. The pair of you are at the very cusp of creativity as long as you both keep your minds open and your hearts willing.

On the album:
- Got mine today!
Very impressed and enjoying it greatly!
The two self penned tracks are probably the stand outs.
- It is really good- the self-penned tracks have quality and sit alongside a wide variety of excellent and imaginative covers.
Intended to listen to two or three tracks- was enjoying it so much I played the whole lot and I'm now late for bed! Going to give it another play tomorrow.
It had its first airing in the car (as opposed to in the house) this morning and I was even more impressed by the sheer clarity and tightness of the recording and performances.
Every last detail of the arrangements is under the microscope in an Unplugged format and it is to the credit of Craig, Ally and their producer Brad Wilkinson that the whole CD passes the listening test with flying colours.
I'm still gobsmacked how a duo so young could produce an album as good as this.
By the way, I can't fault the delivery service. Ordered on Thursday, arrived on Friday.
I got my copy of Liquorice Unplugged today. Very nicely done, Craig and Ally. With you going your own ways, how nice it is to have a record of your time together. Can't decide on a favorite, yet. Too many to choose from.
